Visiting my brother in prison today. Hard place to go into. Plenty of ending machines with healthy choices like salads. It's the after-effect emotional consequences I am worried about. I will need to use my mindfullness exercises to keep binge eating out of the picture.

Visiting prisoners is a Corporal Work of Mercy. When it's a relative it can take an emotional toll. Could you focus on the kindness factor more than the other? Speaking from my own personal experiences. I second Sugar's comment.

I visited my brother and it was a very nice visit. I am glad I did it...it is 3 hours each way. I fed him good food and I ate some cheese and pork rinds and part of a salad. Afterwards I ate chicken breasts, brocolli, and a salad at Bob Evans. I am halfway home and I have a big bottle of water and just blasting music.
Thank you for all of the supportive comments!
