I had an interesting conversation last night. My daughter came over to visit me after a date night. She was telling me about the conversation she was having with the guy she was out with. He ended up being much younger than she had thought. When she found out how old he was he was telling her how much younger she appeared than she actually was. Now how the conversation got around to her father (me) I am not sure, but apparently he asked her something like, well how old is your dad? - she told him I was 63 and she said he was blown away. She told me he argued with her that I could not possibly be THAT old. I had to laugh - a little - now the day after the conversation, I am thinking - - hmm was that a complement? I take it as one of those humorous stories as we get older.

Take it as a compliment any way you can get it. He sounds like a little charmer so tell you daughter to keep her witts about her, but have fun. Age is only a number and when you get hung up on it, you miss out on what life has to offer you. :)
