Hope everyone had a great weekend! I did my first ever 5k on Saturday, and managed to run the entire thing! I didn't track my total time, but my pace was around 11:30, which would have kept me under 40 minutes, which was the generous goal I gave myself. Eventually, I'd like to get under 30 minutes.

Also managed to get out on a quick 30 mile bike ride on Saturday, which was miserable with a horrid head wind on the way home! I just want it to warm up around here soon. Tired of being cold!

I keep going in the wrong direction. I was down to 227 now back up to 256.4 I'm so discouraged. I have all the weight related illnessess. My doc is having a fit. I go see him again on 6/18 and i have to lose something to appease him. He's a good doc only looking out for me, but I keep on eating and not exercising. I'm a compulsive overeater and I'm ust not doing as well as I'd like ', a Compulsive Overeater

Suzy Hohn--it is not easy to lose the weight or to keep it off! I understand that. Surround yourself with healthy foods so when you do feel the need to eat, you are reaching for the good stuff. It is definitely a process of finding a new lifestyle and way of eating that works for you. It also take repeatedly recommitting to your goals because that is the only way to get there. Don't let a setback derail you. Hang in there.
