Well I took a vacation from work, and from tracking as well. My daughter got back in from her semester abroad in England last Wednesday, and I guess I just wanted to spend some time with her. Plus it was Memorial Day weekend, which meant we ate out ALOT, and ended up over at a friend's house on Memorial Day for a cookout. Too much food, needless to say, though it wasn't all unhealthy. Had a veggie tray, strawberries & watermelon to go with the burgers, chips & cheesecake, haha. I'm pretty sure I got my run in last Thursday, but for some reason I really struggled with Saturday's run. I wanted to put in 4 miles, maybe it was the humidity but I just couldn't run that much. I ended up walking almost half of it. Got NO exercise Sunday, but did manage to do some kayaking on Memorial Day. My friends have kayaks & live next to a pond. I went down & back 3 times, outlasted my daughter, haha, but also had trouble getting back out of the kayak. Didn't beach it well, and you know, standing up is difficult. I fell over twice, haha. Oh well, something I need to read up on and learn from. I was afraid my arms would be sore today, but they really aren't - that's a good thing! Gonna put in 3 miles tonight on my treadmill, whether I walk it or run it (but hopefully will run it!).
