The last 6 months have been trying with the recent health issues with my dad. Now that he is in remission, it's time to focus back on me. I found a jogging buddy close to my house and we have started jogging @ 6AM on Mon/Wed/Fri. We are starting off with up to 5k to start, and we both really enjoy the accounability aspect of exercising with buddy (who wants to let your buddy down?). It was a cold morning today and I wasn;t sure how I'd feel about running in the cold, but it was awesome and I'm glad I hauled my a** out of bed to do it. With this new focus on exercise I have also started to watch the calories I am consuming and when given the choice trying to opt for the best food options in lieu of what is most available or easiest to get. If I'm true to myself (as I was a few years back with WW) then I am sure to be down this week as my water consumption is way up and my caloric intake is ~85% of RDI. See you tomorrow morning scales!!
