Wow! We've just got back from 11 mile walk, Starcross to Turf Lock, to Double Locks, to Exeter Quay, and then to Exeter Central for train home, and then walk from train station. Lovely walk, however I now have a blister under each heel! :( 

Wow to your walk as well mate, sounds lovely but not surprised you have blisters! We've had a lovely day which David has successfully ruined! We picked up both girls last night. I drove them to newton 1st thing today & dropped chloe off in town centre in her army uniform as she was part of the mayors guard for the town crier competition! (David refused to look after emily for me whilst i took chloe!) Took emily home for hot buttered toast for her requested breakfast. Then out to stover for a lovely walk right round the lake seeing all sorts of wildlife. She loved it. Then to house of marbles for a nice lunch. ... Then I dared to buy her some marbles as a present .. and David kicked off! Then Phil rang to say he was picking chloe up and could they meet us to get emily. So I suggested they meet us at house of marbles and we could have a coffee together ... David got into a right strop and stormed off back out to car! Chloe later fetched him back in but he was really moody and has been ever since. Nothing I do or say is right now. I just wanna cry ... 

I'm going to buy an annual parking permit for stover ... it's £1.50 for 2 hrs, £3 for a day or only £24 for a whole year. I'd only have to go there 16 times in a year for a walk to get my money back. So we could go there whenever for walks.  

Sorry to hear David is being such a dic..ead at the moment! I know it's easy for me to say but you musn't let him get to you. Tell him he's making an idiot of himself when he "goes off on one" over nothing and the only one who gets upset is him, which is pointless, and if he wants to carry on being an arsehole he can! So next time he goes off (and sits in the car or wherever - just leave him to stew!
