Something was different about today; I just didn't feel bombarded by temptation. I think I'm really going to start taking my journaling seriously. I could be wrong, but I'm thinking that maybe I can then go back through my entries and see what was different about the days that I felt like I was starving - even though I had plenty to eat - and those days where everything just seemed to fall into place.

Runners do the same thing with their journals. They go back through their running logs to see why they felt so exhausted on some running days, while they might have run like a gazelle on others, and felt like they had the world by the tail. Just another reason to record everything that passes the lips, all the exercise I did, and the entries about how I felt that day. Sometimes, it may just be boredom, or there may be some foods that satisfy longer, or like some have told me, I just might have exercised so hard that my pitiful little body is craving nutrition. In any case, this journey is a learning experience, and the day I quit learning, that will probably be the day that I stop breathing.
