Day 60 of new lifestyle. My fiance left tonight for his job. I'm heartbroken. Feel a bit abandoned by his choice to leave. I understand him wanting the opportunity to make more money, but for me, it's not worth the relationship strain. And honestly, I hate being alone in a big apartment. I bought a crapload of mace tonight, and we got wireless intrusion alarms for the doors and windows. I feel a bit better, but I overall am going to miss him so badly. I'm just having a bad night.
But, it's day 60, and I need to do my end-of-month wrap up!
February Wrap Up: 10 pounds lost, for an overall weight loss of 24 pounds so far. Averaging 2.5 pounds lost per week. Started at a 41 inch waist, is currently 37. Still not a touch of fast food or soda. Had 2 Starbucks this month, and just the light frappuccinos. I haven't been clothes shopping in two months, but went in and tried on some jeans and work pants since mine are officially falling off. Size 20-22 to a size 16-18. I almost cried in the store when I realized a size 16 would fit. Started a Couch to 5K program, up to running 12-18 minutes without stopping, which is a hell of a difference for somebody like me, who detests running. Beginning to focus on nutrition more than just calories consumed.
All in all, progress is made. I need to kick butt in the next month and a half. I hope I can still hold myself accountable, even with the hubby gone. Hopefully I don't go crazy-emotional and start eating whenever I can out of loneliness.
