Today is day 2 of my diet. FS says I can have 1500 cal. a day. I have been able to stay under that. The first stage of my dieting journey involves losing 25 lbs. My body is still adjusting to receiving less cal. than before. When I am hungry, I review how many cal. I have eaten so far that day and the food choices I have made. Then I tell myself, "Self, you are eating healthy and enough. It is okay to be hungry. You are not starving. You will be fine." (And maybe drink some water.) I have also given myself permission to have 2 small pieces of chocolate if my daily intake is under 1000 cal. Hasn'tt happened yet.
