Sheesh! I haven't even weighed in over a week! I know it won't be pretty. I didn't think I'd have much of a problem staying away from "forbidden" foods, but gosh darn, I've had to have a taste here and there. 2 almond rochas, a couple of cookies, 2 slices of oh so bad for you banana bread, 2 slices of gourmet cheesecake, and a few pieces of bite sized candy. No, I didn't eat it all in one day! lol It's been spread out over the last week. However, I know it won't look good on the scales! lol I did serve up a wonderful, good for you, Christmas dinner that included an asparagus quiche (dlife recipe), fresh mahi mahi, roasted butternut squash, veggies, cucumber salad, and an oyster casserole per a request to go with the turkey that was brought. No mashed potatoes. No one missed them, either! Tomorrow we are celebrating our anniversary with a night on the town, with some friends, to include BullyT and her husband. Her birthday is the same day as our anniversary. lol Look out town! Give us a few drinks and we are ready to PARTY! I plan to enjoy a few martinis before and after our mexican dinner. Once that's over, I think I'll be over the hump and can resume life as I once knew it. I do plan on making a trip to the gym sometime today, too. I haven't been to the gym in over 2 weeks, due to colds. I think we're all better now. If I don't get on here before hand, Happy NEW YEAR!
