Had a massive month-long stall. Seems to have finally broken. 30.8 pounds down from 1/2/2012 and have 11 pounds to go. The last 10 pounds are always the hardest... Trying not to get discouraged and deepening my resolve to get it off. I'm 3/4th of the way there and know I can backslide easily if I don't watch it carefully or give in to temptation.

I'm not a big sugar-alcohol fan, but have been using just 1 Atkins Advantage bar per day to stave off sugar & chocolate cravings. I eat it as slowly as possible so I can enjoy and savor it instead of devouring it greedily and feel like a glutton starving for more immediately afterward.

Been working out 30-40 minutes a day religiously for a week and a half. That's the hard part. Some days I'm forcing myself through the routine because I know if I slow up, so will my metabolism. The more fat I burn, the more muscle I build, the more efficient my body will be.

The hardest part is keeping the will to keep going forward.
