Preheat the oven to 350* and put a stick of butter in the bottom of your pan and let it melt as the oven heats. Clean the brussel sprouts, chop off the hard ends and cut larger ones in half. Clean and smash 5 cloves of fresh garlic. Once the butter melts pull the pan from the oven and add the garlic and half of the sprouts. Stir the sprouts with the butter making sure all sprouts are lightly coated. Add the other half and repeat. If needed add additional butter. Sprinkle with pink Himalayan salt and fresh cracked pepper. Roast in the oven, uncovered for 30 min - an hour depending on how close the rack is to the heat source. I usually put it one rack up from the lowest position because I like the blackened pieces so tend to cook them longer.

I looooove brussel sprouts. They are also my kids favorite vegetable. They get such a bad rap but they are delicious when cooked properly.
