My husband did the shopping and I had asked him to buy full fat yogurt. Does all yogurt have 11 gm carbs per cup. So disappointed. I would have to make that a meal.....Finally a picture. I will try to do the profile next. Thanks to all for the lessons. So I checked out the yogurt and I will keep my servings small until it is all gone and then I will switch to greek.

There are some low carb yogurts but for a more natural choice go for plain Greek yogurt and add your own sweeteners. Torano sugar free raspberry syrup is a good one.

For great results, it is best to leave yogurt out. For sauce, sour cream and cream cheese is better. This being said by due to that I focus on the fat burning Keto lifestyle.

I used to scarf large amounts of quality yogurt. But. No more. If I were to eat some, I'd only get a tablespoon or two. Focusing more on sour cream and cream cheese and heavy whipping cream. :) Lotsa great fats!

Another option in Creme Fraiche - doesn't separate when used in cooking. I prefer to make my own but can usually buy it at grocery stores.

Have you considered straining the yogurt. Use a sieve, line it with paper towel, and put a bowl under it. The whey is where the carbs are and it will all drip out. I do this all the time, even when I make yogurt in my instant pot. If you buy the 3 - 6%plain yogurt and strain it - at least 10 hours, just on the counter, dump the whey regularly, then take a bowl, lift the yogurt out with the paper towel and turn it into the bowl. The paper towel comes away clean. Now you have far less carbs. I reconstitute it with a bit of 35% heavy cream - just add a little at a time until it is the consistency your like. I also add some stevia or xylitol instead of sugar, because I do like it sweet, and I do prefer stevia (Liquid Sweetleaf). I also add about 3 scoops of vanilla undentured whey protein from happy cows (:)) and some vanilla. Then I add walnuts, almond slivers, or pecans and some frozen fruit. If you add a teaspoon of flax oil it will stay good in the fridge for weeks literally. I usually buy 3 cartons at a time and make it up and just put it in the fridge. It makes a high protein, high fat snack or meal. So simple and delicious.

Try Siggi's if you can get it. It's icelandic yogurt, my Kroger and local coop carry it. I have been buying the nonfat plain and it's amazing. I do not at all like Greek yogurt - it's so sour. Siggi's is smooth and delicious, nont sour. For me great that it's non-fat cause I get a lot of fat in the walnuts I eat with it, so full fat yogurt not good for me. It's really high in protein. And I feel full the whole morning if I eat that with walnuts and apples, or blueberries and some granola. Good luck!
