3 months of weight loss today! Down 21 lbs and I’ve lost 20 inches! 🙂 Id like to get to 125 but it might take a while...losing more slowly these days. My husband and I are going to Europe in September for our 20th anniversary so my goal is to be 125 by then!

Looking for recommendations, advice ?? I’m eating fairly healthy but do stray sometimes, especially weekends. I’m told to consume 1200 calories. I go to exercise classes 3-4 times per week. My calories usually stay more around 900/1000 range Do you find that you have to consume calories for your weight to decrease? My weight has just stalled 😠

BrendaElaine- if you drop your calories and especially protein too far your body will hold on to EVERY calorie it gets in an attempt to not lose anything, thinking you are in a lean time. 🤷🏻‍♀️Make sure you are eating 50-60g of protein per day on average with no more than 30 g per one meal as your body won’t really use more than that well at a meal. 🙋🏻 64 oz of WATER minimum, more if you are intaking any caffeine, soda or diet sweeteners as they need the water to process through the body(they also need magnesium to process through the body, but so does any food we eat!) Magnesium is in the form of leafy greens, raw seeds, or supplements. This holds no matter the diet you are on. Good luck!

Hi Brenda! I agree with smprowett—you need to increase your calories! I average 1350 a day...some days higher some lower but I seem to lose more weight if my calories stay a little higher. Good luck!

Thanks for your advice on the calories I’ve just started to try to keep my calories up. I went back a few months to see how many I was consuming when I lost my first 5 lbs. I was around 1200 calories a day Will see if I see the scale go down over the next week or two 😉

I didn’t say anything about calories because I don’t know your weight, height or habits. LOL My advice is for ANY diet on average. To get a Recommended Daily Intake RDI number of calories. Look up Basal metabolic rate on Google and input your age, height, weight. This gives you what you will burn even if all you do is sleep all day. Subtract 300-500 calories, trying not to go below 1200/day. 🙋🏻
