BURN! I was so stupid. Frying up a hunk of salmon, took the pancake flipper to turn it over and wham all the fat splashed upon my face, neck and chest big time. The hospital took me right in and gave me Tyenol #3 and put this burn dressing on my neck and chest but face is just polysporin as bandages could not be fixed on there. I tell you I look like something out of a horror movie but could be much much worse as only second degree burns. God I was stupid!!! My diet supper wise was certainly put on hold so going to heat up my veggies now and skip the whey drink till tomorrow as hard to drink. Fish will be baked from now on or steamed - like I should have done in the first place.

That's aweful! I hope you aren't in too much pain. I'm a baby when I burn a finger so I can only imagine what you are feeling. Take care and hang in there.

I think a burn is the most painful injury of all. I flipped a very hot pot pie in the oven over on my hand once, and I will never forget the pain. I had to keep my hand in a bucket of water all night, I could not take it out it hurt so much . . and it did miracles. The water totally revived my burned skin in about 10 hours . . it was amazing.

Aw, you poor thing. Burns are just so painful, so I really hope will be less painful for you soon. Take care and look after yourself. Hugs.
