Day 159- So in the shower I was thinking about my journey and what started me. Funny how it has changed as I progress. One of the major things that started me 159 days ago was I wanted to wear nice cloths! I wanted to be able to walk into a nice store and buy what ever I thought looked good and not have to search the racks for XXL shirts and hope they were not big & tall sizes so they would not look like a dress on me. I can walk into a store now and buy whatever I want, but I have to try everything on as I am in between on sizes med & large. I am one of those folks that sticks with a few designers, nice ones, and I can not believe how much their cuts very from style to style. On a side note prob one of the things that is sad is I have draws full of t-shirts i have collected over the years and most of them are HUGE on me now. I have to start the collection all over again..... this is good and bad.
So much has changed from when I started, my goals have changed (I need to update my profile). I am not sure where I want to stop. I am also a little concerned because I have not run into any major road blocks yet. I don't have any injuries that have slowed me down. When I was younger I had all sorts of problems with my legs, knees, ankles and feet. None of these issues have come back.... so what changed? When I was younger I hated running! I use to have to run a timed mile at the start of football every year so I would train for a few weeks before and run it. After I was done I was so happy to be done with it for another year, LOL. I am not in love with running now, but I am enjoying it. While I am running I ask myself 'why are you doing this?' and after I am done I know why, I feel good and sore. The brain is a strange thing sometimes.

So many of us start this journey for vanity but it is nice that it has other benefits as well. As for where to stop - I'm afraid we can never really stop. We just switch gears a little.

Yeah, definitely, Soulnoid, I feel your pain. T-shirt collections are easy to start again. And, for all you know, who you are has changed a little too, so I think it's a good thing. I would donate them. I'm so glad that you haven't had any injuries so far. I seem to have one a month (or so). I'm glad you love running. That HAS to be a good thing.

There was talk by another FSer about using the tees to make a quilt... a weight loss journey quilt! LOL Donating is a good idea as well-we do that all the time! Thanks for the add!
