Man oh man oh MAN! Yesterday SUCKED THE BIG ONE at work! Major pressure and last minute stress...and not because of me! We have a procrastinator at work and it drives me nuts! He procrastinates until the last minute and it totally affects me, as he's the CPA and he reviews my work for tax reports. Any changes that need to be made, he brings to me and I fix them. He's a nit picker, too. If something isn't balanced to the exact penny or put in the proper account, he will fixate on it until it's right. Sometimes the stuff he worries about doesn't even matter. Even the big boss isn't sure how to break him of this bad habit as it wastes time! Let's just say I have a hard time liking him when he pulls this crap. I ended up staying an extra hour after work last night. Thankfully, my daughter got a late nap and slept from about 2pm until 5pm...so I didn't have to contend with her during the stressful time.
I thought for sure I'd be up in my weight this week, but oddly enough, I've lost a total of 3 pounds, even though I'm only down 1 pound. lol Yes, I had put on some extra weight at the beginning of the week. To be honest, I really think that it helps me tremendously to not eat 2 hours before bedtime. I've been working really hard at that this week. We go to bed early at our house so it's always been difficult for me to come home and immediately start making dinner. I usually want to kick my feet off and relax a bit before making dinner. This week I had decided to make dinner as soon as I got home. It's been challanging as I've been feeling stressed and irritable, but I think it's helping with my weight loss!
Thank GOD today is Friday! Next week starts our tax season. I will have to start eating my lunches at work during the day. Normally, my daughter and I come home for lunch. But, it's only during tax season that we have to eat at work...only about 2 and a half months. lol So, this weekend I'm going to work on preparing some food for lunches next week. Not sure what, yet. Maybe some soups and salads.
Hope you all have a great Friday!

Ugh... sorry grumpy Robby at work!! LOL Shrug him off and pray that God will soften him to being more realistic. He needs prayers if he is such a problem. ;0) Yep, make that crock full of good stuff and freeze them for lunches and even to have for a quicky reheat dinner! :) I know that on the nights I get home not until after 6pm that I scramble to get something going for dinner so that we can have it settle in our tummies a while b4 bed. I don't have the 2 hour wait problem, as we just don't get to bed til 10 or later on average. Bustling around trying to get girls teeth brushed, jammies on, in bed, in bed, in bed and oh yeah, back in BED!! lol Read story, say prayer and sing lullaby! PHEW! That takes nearly an hour when you work in distractions and oh yeah treatments. I usually get about 30 mins of down time after all that... it's not easy. BUT ... LOOK AT YOU!! IT IS SO POSSIBLE!! I'm so proud of you for working harder at eating early... it really makes a HUGE difference in your blood sugars and your over all metabolism! DO NOT EAT later than 2 hours before bed and you'll be on a roll, right there! =D Keep up the great work girlfriend!! Btw... I got the in home daycare to be my "back up" incase of sitter being late, and I told sitter she will be deducted the fees I pay for having to have a back up. =D loves ya honey!! BREATHE..... "bf"... don't forget how FUN they are!! =D LMAO

Kudos on the weight loss! I started making dinner when I get home and it makes a huge difference. Once I got into the habit it got easier by each week. I also *gasp* get lunches ready for the next day as well. This is not like me to be so prepared but I am now dedicated and want to succeed. I let my 2 year old "help". I sit him on the counter and let him throw some spices in to what I am making or help me stir something. Sometimes (not often) if I am making sandwiches for my husband I guide him when putting meat and lettuce on. If I want to just keep him busy I fill the sink with some water and enough dish soap to fill the sink with bubbles; then give him some plastic bowls (usually his toddler bowls) and a dish rag and he "washes" dishes. I do this to spend some quality time with him and he likes the responsability. That and if I didn't he would be trying to drag me by the hand to his room... lol. Anyway... Keep up the great work!

KUDOS to you Miteslur......Awesome efforts!! Preparation for me is KEY as well.....I know what I'm going to be eating at least 4 out of seven days.....and that still gives me time to plan and prepare for the weekends.....If it wasn't for that - I wouldn't be where I am today.....No worries about what's for lunch that isn't on my plan.....I preapre late Sunday for the week ahead.......GREAT at cutting down the bedtime snacking!

I can't wait for the time when my daughter is old enough to "want to help" me in the kitchen. I like the idea of filling the sink with water and bubbles for washing dishes. lol Quality time is something that's so important. I've really been noticing that this last week, since my husband is in California until NEXT Friday. Boy, I can't imagine being a single mom with more than 1 toddler. I just don't think I'd have the energy! But, this is why I want to lose my weight! I WANT to have PLENTY of energy to play with my daughter! I have to admit, it's been tough to get into the habit, this week, of making dinner first thing when I get home. But, it's worth it to make new habits! I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do for lunches/dinners next week but this weekend I will for sure! It is so nice to not have that pressure when it's time to eat. Thanks for all your suggestions! Thanks for all the KUDOs, too! =)
