I wanted to share this for my friends who suffer with chronic illnesses. It's amazing what a difference a year can make. I was so sick. Sicker than I even would admit to most friends and family. Lupus is a beast. If the chronic illness doesn't kill you then the chemo will. I gave myself painful weekly shots for years and watched the person I was before disappear. I went into kidney failure. Got to the point I couldn't hardly get out of bed. It is so surreal to make a will when you are young. A year ago I didn't know if I would still be here today. I believe in the power of prayer. I was blessed with a primary doctor who caught my kidney disease when my old Rheumatologist did not. Then I was blessed with a new rheumatologist who literally prayed with me the first time I saw him. My medications were completely changed. I was blessed with a Nephrologist who performed biopsies and testing to determine the extent of my kidney damage and begin treatment and I started improving. I suffered a setback after reacting to the Covid vaccine. Yes, vaccine injury is real because I experienced it. I had to work hard to get my mobility back....cane to rollator walker to unassisted and now to triking to increase my stamina. I share this with you because I know someone is reading this and feeling the despair and hopelessness that I felt back then. If you are suffering, look for a new Dr., fight for answers. If you are suffering cast your worries upon the Lord. He will carry you through this. If you need someone to talk to, I am here. You are loved and you are not alone. ❤️
