yesterday i became a bronze member on the wii fitness coach! only took me 3 mo's to do 10 workouts. :-) i didn't feel like working out today, well doing yoga again, so i chose to do the upper body workout. the "trainer" tried to step up the cardio but i have some trouble w/ my knees and didn't like the lunges or squats too much but i still did them, just not as deep. the upper body workout with the weights and the ball was great! then i got on the elliptical machine for 10 minutes. amazing for me!

have been breaking down a little with cookies around but i've managed to keep it mostly under control without beating myself up and without totally falling off the wagon (only have one/two - not 10!). have to indulge SOMETIMES!

I'm afraid to weigh in on thursday. usually when i start working out i don't lose weight on the scale, or i gain weight. i just have to keep telling myself that i'm basically eating the same as I was before i started exercising when i was losing 2 lbs a week and exercising certainly doesn't make people gain fat, so i just have to give it a chance (exercise for a month & see what happens) and not get discouraged by the numbers. & i do like feeling stronger.

i actually got off my behind and did yoga and upper body work out with the Wii Fitness Coach. good variety for me as i get bored quick. made a list of stuff to do today so i don't sit on the couch all day watching tv. going to do 15 min of elliptical now and 15 minutes later. then maybe some bowflex. i have to break things into about 15 minute increments throughout the day. will try to do this sat & sun. during the week i can probably do about 10 minutes with 5 lb weight and core training on the ball in the am and 15 minutes of elliptical in the pm. not much but anything is better than sitting (which i do for about 10 hrs at work, killing me) i would just like to feel stronger; and not lose muscle mass while losing weight (that happening really scares me). I will try it for the next month & I'll see what happens. I LOVE TO EXERCISE! ;-)
