208.8!! I can't wait to hit 200! I haven't been below 200 in a couple of years!
I am excited to find my old self again. I used to swim, jog, mountain bike, take the canoe out. I used to enjoy being social. The weight gain came with the frustration of nothing fitting, pain in my knees, hips, and back being worse than it's ever been.
I'm still not getting "in shape". I know that even with the weight loss getting my stamina back is still going to be very important. I'm doing some cardio, but I'm also waiting until there's less strain on my knees and hips to go hard at it.
Baby steps!

Almost forgot to track today. I've barely eaten as well.
I'm super distracted trying to get divorce paperwork filled out. My ex and I have been split for 4 years, but haven't filed for a multitude of reasons. All of that is resolved and now we can finally move forward.
Why is it soooooo much paperwork. So much math! I'm just glad we're finally on the road to being done with this.....so I can get married!

WHOO HOO! 209.9! I did it! Next big goal is to see my weight below 200.
Last night I spent a long time in the grocery store browsing. I was looking for things that I could make quickly, but fit my dietary needs for dinners as well as snacking. Yes, this includes processed foods. I hate cooking on a normal basis, but cooking for one might as well be torture. My fiancé does quite a bit more of the cooking for the rest of the family than he had done previously now that I'm split off doing my own thing, but I still handle the brunt of it. Cooking two meals in the evening sounds like my version of a horror movie.
Anyway, here are a few things I found:
1. Amylu chicken sausages: I got a few different flavors. I tried the garlic and asiago cheese one last night. Delicious! I do advise against biting directly into this flavor, unless you want cheese rockets with undetermined (and yet to be discovered) destinations in your home. Definitely a cut up to bite size pieces sausage. They have 100 calories and 1G of carbs per link. So...I had *two*
2. Mac's salt and Vinegar pork rinds: I have always been a pork rinds girly. How I have never seen these, I do not know. THEY ARE DELICIOUS! I had to hide them from myself. I'm not much of a snacker, but these have me in a freaking choke hold. 80 calories per half an oz serving and 0G carbs.
3. Real Good Foods Co lightly Breaded Chicken nuggets: It says nuggets, but they're chunks of breast meat. I am a big fan of "girl dinner" and these feel like they'll be a great addition. They're made with chickpea flour, for those of us that struggle with eating glutenous things. I'll update on flavor when I try them. 130 calories and 4G of carbs per 4 oz serving.
4. Healthy Choice Power Bowls Chicken Marinara: Is it good? I dunno. Riced cauliflower instead of rice, which I thankfully enjoy. I'll update when I've tried it. We all know frozen meals are usually pretty substandard, but I love the convenience of not only getting a quick meal, but also the accurate tracking of the nutrition facts. These have 210 calories and 10G carbs per bowl.
5. Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles: Another convenience food. I haven't had one yet, but how bad could they possibly be? 300 calories and 3G of carbs per package.
Things I've tried and do not suggest: ANY of the low carb Quest pizzas. They are so so small and so so gross. Serving size is only 1/2 of the tiny pizza. Pepperoni? Flavorless. Crust? Dry yet somehow soggy cardboard. 340 calories just to feel sad and hungry afterwards. 25G of carbs, 19 of which is dietary fiber. I appreciate the effort, but at that point I might as well have eaten a wicker placemat with pizza toppings instead. Gross gross gross. Do not make my mistake.

I think my scale is just taunting me now. It knows what I want. GIVE ME THE 209!
I changed my weight goal to 200 instead of 160. I think doing smaller goals will be more gratifying. Need that serotonin boost to keep going!
I woke up AMPED today. Popped out of bed and flipped the light on. My poor fiancé was just trying to sip his coffee in the light of his phone. Not today! I have ENERGY!
I attribute this to the fact that I've started taking magnesium at night before bed. I really think it's helping. I'm finally sleeping through the night and it feels like really restful sleep.
