Happy Veterans Day. Just want to thank all the veterans for the hard work and sacrific they have made for me.

Still feeling a little tired. Not as much energy as last week. I did however, get in an hour work out last night and was able to do my 1/2 hr on the treadmill with out having to slow down once to get my heartrate in the target zone. That must mean I am getting my old ticker back into shape. I decided I wouldn't increase my speed until I could go the thirty minutes without my heartrate spiking up. Any thoughts on this as I am new to the whole workout concepet. I must say I am loving it and wished I would have found out about the 24 hr gym along time ago.

Some really good news on the trailer. The septic should be done and ready either today or tomorrow. That means we can move in permanantly. We have been sleeping there but have to get up in the mornings to go next door to grandmas to shower and eat. I bet she will be glad when she can have her cabin back. We have been there 5 months now. I know the kids will still hang out there after school becasue the get away with murder at grandma's house.

Yesterday was another tough food day. My son is turning 15 at the end of the month and this year he opted to go to the National Peanut Festival with his friends for his birthday. The festival is a hugh fair with a carnival and lot and lots of food booths. Anyway we ate breakfast before going but of course had to eat lunch their. So much temptation and not alot of good food choices. I ended up with the roasted corn no butter with sea salt and a little bit later a smoked turkey leg that I shared with my son and daughter and then lots of water. I did have to sample pack of peanuts after all it was the peanut festival and there was a grilling exibit that had free grilled chicken and pineapple. Over all I did really good passed on the corn dogs, funnel cake, and cotton candy. I the only thing I could keep thinking is what Janelleas has on her profile (I think that is where I saw it) was "Love the taste of life not the taste of food". Where I was still to big to get on the majority of the rides I missed out and so did my kids. Which isn't fair. So I want to get to a manageable size by next year so that I can go on those rides and taste life. After the kids wanted to go to a buffet also very tempting but I opted for a delecious ceasar salad w/ chicken that I made so tons of veggies no cheese and lite dressing and some cottage cheese. I must say I left full but not miserable and I didn't have problems with my irritable bowel acting up from a ton of grease buffet food on the drive home. I have to confess that I did cheat a little with a couple of halloween mini candy bars becasue I was craving chocolate by the end of this very long and tempting day. I don't know if I stayed under my limbo pole. I will have to get to work on adding it all up. But if I didn't at least I didn't got thousands of calories over the pole like I would have done in years past.

Good morning happy FS's. Will the scale didn't show exactley what I would have liked I must say I have had a very accomplished week. I worked out everyday and ate pretty well. My pants are fitting better, my wedding ring slipped off my finger on its own, and my boobs don't hang over the edges of my bra anymore. LOL Mentally, physically, and spiritually I have been in a better place then I have been in for a very long time. My energy level is way up and I have been accomplishing alot more at work and at home. Life is good. Not great but good. I am in a place where I can enjoy the simple pleasures and appreciate the time I had with my husband and not start crying out of control. Plus I managed to come to this place while dealing with an extended stay from Aunt Flo and all her extra luggage. LOL Anyway I hope you all have an awsome weekend and keep on being healthy.
