I was bummed to lose only a pound and half this week. I have made such huge changes in my eating habits I feel like I should be losing a lot more each week. I went from drinking milk and Coke (and no water) every day to drinking only water. (Almost a gallon a day)I also used to eat pasta for either lunch or supper every day in huge portions sizes which I no longer do. I haven’t had pasta, white bread or white rice in two months. I estimated I was eating about 5000 Calories a day and am now eating 1200 high protein low carb calories. It’s been 8 weeks. I started at 216 and am now 197. What more can I do in order to boost the weight loss?

I want to share some pics with you of how my workouts are going at home.
My dog is 11 months old and believes everything I do is about her .......because usually it is. 😄
This is how I’m doing with sit ups. My aerobic exercise looks like a combination of
catching my pants on fire and being mauled by a large animal. I’m thinking of starting my own
exercise channel on YouTube. 😂

This is me at 216 lbs. (woman on right) I am at 199 after 7 weeks of calorie deficit, high protein diet but not seeing a difference in the mirror. My size 16 jeans were too big so I am now wearing a 14 which is a victory. I’m just wondering how much weight I have to lose before it’s noticeable in the mirror. When did you start to notice your weight loss?

Hello. I’m new here. I started my journey on January 11th and am down 17 pounds so far.
I was thin all my life and ate whatever I wanted which was mostly pasta, pizza, and anything with cheese. When I was in my early 30’s I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer which was probably the reason my metabolism was so great my whole life. I had my thyroid gland completely removed and my life changed forever. I gained 30 pounds in one month and could no longer eat whatever I wanted without a consequence. Since then I’ve never been at a weight I felt comfortable with. I also have PCOS which I never felt affected my weight but maybe it did. 🤷♀️So now I’m here. I’m eating a reduced calorie diet, high protein and low carb. So far so good but definitely coming over slower than I’d like.
