For some reason, this weigh loss feels painfully slow. I'm happy to have lost 2 lbs in a week, I just remember losing a little faster with Atkins before. I know I just have to be patient and stay with it. That's what my husband keeps saying. (He's lost 13 lbs, btw...)I fell off in logging my carbs last week. I have to get the FS app working on my Droid. Making it a point to do that today and also planning on loading in several of the foods that I eat regularly for easier logging. I haven't eaten anything off-plan at all, but I def should've been logging to be sure that I'm not going over at all and getting in enough calories. Moving forward and starting fresh. :)I am proud to say that I have had no caffiene (actually I've had nothing besides water and the occasional flavor-pack with it) for over a week now. Kind of a milestone for a major Diet Pepsi addict like myself. Now on to being sure to get some exercise in!!! I hate sacrificing time with my kids in the evenings to go to the gym. I need to be healthy, though, and to set a good example for them, so I just have to make it happen. I'll be working on that one this week! :)

After struggling for the last 3 weeks and only losing 2 lbs total, I am going to be entering all foods in my food diary and logging my exercise to try to target what is going on here. I suspect that my caloric intake is not quite where it should have been. Also, I have always been a complete Diet Pepsi addict and I am proudly 2 days clean at this point. Had a very NASTY headache by lunchtime yesterday and another today, but it was a bit more mild. No coffee, no soda, no caffiene at all as of 1/24/11, so we'll see if that helps. I have been at varying levels of ketosis for the last 3 weeks according to my ketosticks, so (being in denial) I thought the DP's weren't hurting anything. Apparently not. My water intake is very good and now I need to get on track with exercize. I did great the first 2 wks, but fell off last week after not seeing any weight loss. I get discouraged when I feel that I've been working very hard and get no results. I haven't gone off Atkins at all in 3wks, no sugars no cheats, so hopefully monitoring my calories to make sure I take in enough and cutting out the DP will help get me on the right track.
