Switched to the Atkins diet on Feb. 22nd and have lost 6 lbs. so far in 10 days. I tried this diet years ago and successfully lost over 30 lbs. so i'm familiar with the rapid weight loss. Its a good way to boost your intial weight loss... get you excited and motivated. The harder part is maintaining it.

What a great first 10 days. By the time summer comes around you'll be near your goal. I'm sure this success in combination with the sexy summer sun will keep you motivated for a while! And as you know, the trick to maintaining is to take action once you drift 5 lbs from goal and not wait until it becomes a real issue. Good luck and keep up the good work.

I found that if you follow through the phases it teaches you how to maintain on a healthy lifetime maintenance plan. Good luck.
