Hi new friends I know I don't post many entries. I'm somewhat new to dieting this time around. I'm 34 years old with an 8&9 yr old sons. I was at my heaviest weight ever last year of 336. I've been dieting on and off with not a whole lot of success but 4 weeks ago I went to the doctor and was told I am type 2 diabetic. This outraged me my first thought was what can I do to fix this problem. My doctor told me dieting and exercise could help me get rid of this illness. I'm young I don't want to be on medications everyday. That is when I decided to do something about this weight. I read the keto diet book and put some of the plans into action I haven't started the actual meal plans but I do eat according to the keto diet the best foods for our body. I weighed in at 323 that day at the doctor. Today 4 weeks later I'm down almost 10 lbs! I'm happy and excited on where this journey will take me. And reading a lot of you all on fs post has really kept me motivated. I love this community everyone is supportive and such great motivators. God bless everyone on their journeys!
