I did fairly well til the weekend and then blew it. But that is ok, I got right back on track today. Saw my doctor this morning and he said that The Atkins low carb diet should not hurt my kidney. I do not really have kidney disease, but I had kidney cancer and now that is gone. So he said I can do any diet I want. I have gained so much since I got sick so now I really want to get it back off. Atkins is great and I did it before. I can do it again!

You can do it. It is great that you have a doctor who supports you. I have a naturopath that does, he perscribed Atkins, but I'm still looking for a primary care doctor who supports it.
