I was over my calories yesterday, but under the previous two days so it all balanced out. My wife is having difficulty eating (Chemo), so yesterday I picked up some bits to prompt her to eat. Unfortunately the calories were higher than I would have liked.

Sorry aboot yer wife sir. Stick with it, try grabbing some healthy sandwiches fi the bakers, avoid the deep fried mars bar suppers!

Nausea has been surprisingly fine, so far. It was the hair starting to fall out today that got to her!

Sorry your wife needs to have chemo, I hope she's doing okay. Getting things that are a tad high in calories to help her eat something she might enjoy, that's a very caring thing. Smaller pieces of things you both might enjoy may not destroy a healthy eating plan. I hope things get better soon x

Oh ... the hair falling out ... yes, that is hard for a woman to cope with. I hope she has a catalogue where she can shop for glamorous wigs. It might help.

The NHS supply one for free. She has a brilliant one which matches her original hair, in both style and colour. She is getting her head shaved next Saturday, and I intend doing the same, though it is not such a big deal for me as my photo shows!
