Emerald Team Report, week 2
Drum Roll please, LOST 4 LBS THIS WEEK!!!!
I saw the number yesterday but just knew the scales were messing with me again, BUT this morning I saw the same numbers, WOW it must be true!!!
This challenge and going back to writing down a daily food journal has been a great jump start! Thanks to Sara for spearheading it and thanks to all of you for the encouragement, understanding, recipes, and the laughs!
Recipe reviews:
Bacon Wrapped Pork Filet: Let me put it this way, there ain't any left! Just me and Mark, a 1 lb pork tenderloin and salad for dinner last night. Mark went back for 3rds, said he didn't want to clutter up the refrig! The meat was flavorful and super tender. yeah we will do this one again soon!
I also fixes Shannon's Dessert. Why I have never made this before I do't know. It was EASY and good. No left overs to clutter up the refrig. Next time I will probably add some Splenda. A great way to take of my CHOCOLATE addiction and Mark's sweet tooth at the same time.

Mark has decided we are going to rescue another hurricane dog today. The Dallas shelter has already received dogs from Houston, moving the shelter dogs before Ike came to town, they will have more by the end of the week. Also the adoption fees are reduced 50%, a great time to rescue a new best friend. When Katrina hit New Orleans we got our blue heeler mix, Jasmine, from the shelter. We are looking for a border collier, or maybe a german shepard to share the backyard with Jasmine.
