Surprising loss, considering the way I ate this week. I ate more chocolate (even some non-dark) than usual. I think what may have made the difference is that I drank keto coffee for most mornings this week. I usually alternate with scrambled eggs, but preparing scrambled eggs takes more time than preparing keto coffee.

I am so relieved to be on holiday vacation, finally! Some of my colleagues have been trying to force-feed me their sugary crap (some of that crap I did not even like back when I ate a lot of real sugar) all week and I am getting a break from that! I don't get why some people feel the need to insist and not respect my boundaries when I tell them no! They don't act like that towards other people, only me! I was offering myself some coffee to people this week, and when some people told me "No thanks", I did not take this as an invitation to change their mind. What part of "No" some people do not understand? Good thing these people are not rapists!

Did I break under the pressure? I only ate whatever I really wanted, but I was just annoyed when my "No"s were not taken as a "No".

Sorry for this rant, but at least I am on vacation and will get a break from work (and colleagues!) for a little while.

My gift baskets for my mom and sister are ready and I can't wait to give them out! It's always fun to give out some gifts, see family and eat some good food and drink some good wine! And Christmas is also my mom's birthday, so it's a good excuse to prepare some gifts.

My sister finally got her surgery date for her myomectomy. I have been through a similar surgery, so I will be able to be around for moral support and to provide some help.

Some snow fell last Sunday in the Eastern Ontario/Western Quebec area. Thanks to the cold, the snow did not thaw. However, the temperature is supposed to rise tomorrow and keep on rising until Thursday with no snowfall, so I am not sure we will have a white Christmas. I am still crossing my fingers that some snow will remain on the ground. Our heavy snowstorms are almost always between January and March and it doesn't look different for this winter.

Nobody bothers trying to lure me, but there are several of us at work eating healthy for many other reasons than weight loss. Tell them it's for your cholesterol, or pre-diabetes, or heart. They won't bother you when they know it's for your inside health. Just a suggestion! Have a relaxing holiday and take care of yourself.
