carbs are NOT bad! there is a huge misconception regarding carbohydrates. you still need your carbs, not toooo much of it. like your "bad" carbs such as pasta, rice, potato etc. are high dense calorie foods. which means: 1. you could have a small portion of pasta (bowl) and it will be 300 calories (EXAMPLE ONLY it could be a lot more or less, it also depends on what you eat with your pasta) OR 2. you can have a LARGE bowl of salad with is filled with low dense calorie foods such as spinach, lettuce, tomato, cucumber etc.. your portion will be A LOT more then the pasta portion, and you will actually get full from the salad because all the ingredients have fibre in them.. please note that your salad does not have to be a boring, distasteful salad. but bottom line is : CARBS ARE NOT BAD, you still need them in your diet

most of what we eat contain carbs. a healthy apple contains sugar called fructose. any sugar is considered carbs. so if you want to go no carb, you're gonna have to eat almost nothing.

that is right Phatsue, all sugars are carbs. but fructose is not bad.. once again, you can choose to have an apple (which has CARBS and the one thing everyone is so afraid of FRUCTOSE) which is 52 calories more or less. OR you could have things that almost everyone once again think is good for weight loss like ONE (1) slice of whole wheat bread which contains 70 calories, or your typical brown bread which contains 73 calories.. here is the fact: 1. Apple = 52 calories (large apple), 5g - FIBRE is what you need to aid with weight loss 2. whole wheat bread = 70 calories (1 slice), 1.9g - that is NOT enough, the apple is what is going to satisfy you more and get rid of the hunger much quicker, and for longer... this is only 1 example, my opinion is that people must stop being CARBO-PHOBES.. all fruits are better than bread, pasta, rice...for the record whole heat pasta and brown rice is NOT that great for loosing weight! eat more fruits

Agree with the others. Carbs aren’t bad, processed food is bad and all processed food have very high carbs but it’s mostly the toxic man made/processed kinds. My eating consists of 40-50% carbs on most days within my 1,800 caloric intake only because I eat loads of fruit, veg, legumes and wild/brown rice to keep my fiber up to point. I also do moderate weight training. I think (totally my opinion), that the moment we focus on reducing carbs too low for too long we start compromising our fiber and I promise you fiber is a game changer! As long as you keep to food closest to it’s natural form you’ll be doing your body and mental state good. X
