Do you gain when you walk and lift weights for a period of time? And then lose it? Is that normal. I have been lifting weights a lot and doing exercises and things like that. But my cloths are more lose but I’m gaining. Like will that come off?? Or am I doing something wrong. Like Yesterday I walked 3.5 miles and I ate normal and I was lifting weights. Any ideas??

Hey friend, when you lift weights, you are building and conditioning muscle. muscle is leaner but denser and heavier than fat. So you may be slimming down but weighing more if your are building muscle.

Muscle weights more than fat. If lifting a lot of wts you’ll gain wt through muscle. Depends what you want. Lose wt & tone or muscle up & will gain some. Walking helps lose wt & tones. Especially if you change it up & walk hills and rougher terrain some. 🍀

ditto what was already said, plus muscle burns more calories. so basically you building a calorie burning factory and feeling better. Yes! weight loss usually follows muscle gain.

Oh yeah! I had that same question/issue when I started. I just kept lifting and first started seeing non scale victories. My clothes fit better, my fat started shrinking slowly and my muscles are more firm, strong and shapely than before. Now I'm losing. Buggest hurdle for me was lack of patience. I really thought I'd see big drops more quickly but they have been slow and fairly steady. But I did reach a plateau for 3 weeks. You just cannot give up and you must have faith in the process that it will happen. Also I suggest not cutting cals too drastically or your metabolism will slow down. Also don't give up every thing you love to eat. If you get too strict you'll find the reward isn't worth the sacrifice. My point being you don't need to sacrifice. If you find balance and know it's not going to happen overnight you should do great!
