The only sensible explanation is - water retention. There are intracellular (ICW) and extracellular (ECW) water content. The ICW increase is good, ECW - bad, as it can be a sign of inflammation or renal disease. Unfortunately, my old scales do not break TBW, but I hope it is an ICW increase. Probably should start shopping for something newer. I believe I own these scales for over 10 years, so there should be better technology available. ** Calm and peaceful Florida winter morning this Friday. Will wait for the fog to dissipate and go for a walk.
