So much for well laid plans. Went shopping yesterday for meal plan items only to find that Fortino's were out of 2 of the proteins (on sale in their flyer) that were an crucial part of my meals; ground turkey and ground chicken. Not good, since temp today is -24 and I have no plans to leave my home at all. So, after calming down changed the plan and made chicken parmesan with a side of cucumber salad (no pasta), instead of turkey loaf. And today I am making a pot of chili, hot and spicy to counter the frigid cold outside (Fortino's did have extra lean ground beef).
