I gained more than 10 pounds since November 26 so I have to figure out what happened. I think I was doing fine until I went on vacation for five weeks in February. Instead of following my own eating schedule and food choices I accommodated my friends’ choices and schedule since we were vacationing with them. We ate too late at night which gave me heartburn. I went off my gluten-free diet Which means I ate too many carbs. I am back on track at the moment. I am avoiding sugar and substituting honey or agave or maple syrup or date syrup instead. I have a food sensitivity to Cane Sugar so that’s the motivation. I am focusing on eating more greens and less meat. I am trying to eat only between the hours of 10 AM and 6 PM. I am using dark chocolate as a treat in small quantities. I’m trying to limit desserts to once a week and they have to follow all the food rules. I think my weight gain was due to too many carbs and probably too many calories even though I was exercising by playing pickle ball about two hours a day. Exercise does not compensate for overeating. I have to remember these things so I don’t fall into this trap again. I worked very hard to lose those 10 pounds!
