Day 30 - Today the last day of improvement opportunities for my first whole month. I have recorded a daily deficit of close to 1200 for the preceding two weeks. I go to bed hungry wake up hungry and the pantry is just restocked with all sorts of temptation including beer and wine. Today is not the day for any of that stuff no. I am having to lean on some serious mental resolve at the moment. The easiest thing to do that helps me is distraction tactics like go out for a long walk/run however my legs are still wibbly from prior sessions. In the grand scheme of hassle in this world my struggles measure small.

Good news after two days we finally managed to capture a mouse in the kitchen that the cat had dropped. That's about ten in a month that I have had to chase round the house. Once again my wood burner gauntlets and floor mounted cctv were invaluable as the overnight mousetraps plan had failed to tempt the mouse. Yesterday I cut a few strips of plywood to fit around the washing machine in the utility room to remove a mouse hiding places. Rileys feeding station has now been moved there.

The cat is new to us we got him a few months ago he came from a home where the owners dogs had started to attack him and was very stressed and nervous to start, with slowly he is getting better. He is a cutie

Annoyingly yesterday my fitness tracked has stopped connecting to my phone all the usual fixes so far have failed -further googling is needed.

Simple plan today - 30g Fibre and 1200 deficit thats all.
