Well, I'm into the "two teens" for the first time in a decade and that's awesome. I met my goal for the week and I'm on track for 1.5-2 pounds week, or 6-8 pounds per month.

Going to the gym has really stepped things up. Also, joining the pedometer challenge forces me to try to walk more each day.

I'm on day #197 of no cheating, and abstaining from refined sugar and alcohol. At this rate, I may reach my first goal of 100 pounds in a year by September, or I will come very close and that's good enough for me.

Hitting the gym again this weekend. Thanks to NM, Bwy, pu, CR and Rob for the ongoing support.

Mrsmole, fantastic!! I just want to second the motion on the abstention from sugar and alcohol....that's what I'm doing as well and it's working for me. I look at it as this: neither one helps me with my life goals right now and there's plenty of time to enjoy them later (but in smaller quantities). Keep going!

That is so fantastic! I can't even begin to commit to such a challenge. I don't overdo it on the sugar, but I know I wouldn't do as well as you're doing if I tried to give it up.
