4 pounds off this week, these funny strange bodies we have......up, down, up, and down again this week.

Next week will be a challenge in itself. I am taking my mom and aunt to visit another aunt for 3 days plus travel. There will be a lot of sitting, then eating - they like Golden Corral and Cracker Barrel. I made the hotel reservations so I knew I could get a place with a treadmill & other fitness equipment, and I'll be on it each morning and each evening. Promise. Will be carrying some of my foods with me, and will make the best choices I can at the restaurants. Hoping for a maintain next week, then back to my own true routine when I return.....

OMG - Cracker Barrel - I couldn't think of a worse place to step into. My love for carbs would overwhelm any attempt to be good. I've never been to a restaurant that could serve that much in one meal. Good for you for planning ahead. You'll no doubt be fine because you are thinking about it ahead of time.

It's definitely going to be a challenge to eat right and try to get in my activity. We will go to the grocery store and get stuff to have in the room, that's good as I can be more in control there - and hopefully will only have one meal out each day, except for the traveling days which will probably be two. The hotel has a breakfast buffet so will stay away from the waffles and eat fruit and yogurt and drink my coffee. The aunt that is traveling with us has a son who is a few years older than me, and he's lost a bunch of weight recently also, and is doing 5K's, so this eating right idea will not be foreign to her. The other aunt we are going to visit...not that family !!!

Oh my, I never knew what Cracker Barrel was until I traveled to Charlotte NC last year (I'm from So Cal). I was in CARB Heaven. And, now, I gain weight just thinking about the meals I had there a year ago. Be strong, girl, and if not, treat yourself with love and start again. Enjoy :)

Cracker barrel has a bean soup that is really good also their breakfasts are really good. Basically southern cooking. yummy

You can do it. it's tough to low carb send travel but it can be done :). Good luck.

stick with your eggs and bacon instead of pancakes at cracker barrel and you will be fine

I'm back - while I didn't track here and barely did on WW, I made mostly good choices, walked that treadmill and used the bike in the fitness room morning and evening, and still managed to lose .8 of a pound :) I was surprised. I would have expected and accepted a small gain and been happy with a maintain. We ate at Cracker Barrel several times, a fish house and a barbeque place. Had food in the room and also ate the breakfast in the hotel each morning. Now that I got through all that I'll probably struggle this week ;) Naw, it's all good !! Going to post and check in now.
