I didn't overeat, but I did eat the wrong things yesterday. I probably average a Coke once a year. But when I visit KB and she offers a Coke (which is the only thing besides coffee that she keeps in stock), I rarely refuse. In fact, it's one of the few times that Coke actually tastes good to me. It probably goes back to my childhood, when our family would visit Mr B and her, and she would give us kids a Coke and peanut M&Ms, which we would drop into the Coke bottle. Then we'd watch late night shows on her Philco tv while they played canasta with our parents.
Yesterday was the third of June, another sleepy, nondusty, nondelta day. That was the first 45 record I bought. They did a story about Bobbie Gentry's song Billy Joe McAllister on public radio yesterday, which also happens to be the birthday of one of my best friends from high school. Feeling nostalgic today.
