Busy day. Paid bills and bought groceries. Happened to see the price of eggs. I was shocked. Another thing I noticed--no pasta and no barley on the shelves. And I wanted to take what was left of the 7-bone roast I made the other day to make beef barley soup. On to plan B. Not many Easter treats either so picked some up. I have never put much candy in baskets as my mom always went overboard. Still make baskets for the boys and the grandkids. Didn't lose, but didn't gain either.
