I didn't comment on my personal journal much this past week. Today's weigh in was a little discouraging with my slight gain.
On June 24, I decided to get out the old tape measure since the scale wasn't moving. Yesterday, I took my measurements again. Below are some of the stats:
Neck - lost 1/2 inch; Upper arms - lost 1/2 inch; Bust - stayed the same; Waist - lost 1 inch; Abdomen - lost 2 - 1/2 inches; Hips - lost Lost 1 - 1/2 inches; Two inches above waist - lost 2 inches; Calf - lost - 3/4 inch.
At least I "feel" some progress so it is not a total loss.

OK, so I was a little discouraged when I hopped on the scale this morning. However, I just returned from a regular check up at the doctors and I was 13 lbs lighter than last year! I actually felt good when I got off the scale! :)

Congrats on posting the higher weight, now it is a part of recorded history. ;-) Nobody goes straight down and both those measurements and your chart clearly show the great effort you are making. I'm sure you are quite aware of the enormous concentration losing weight and becoming healthy requires. Keep up the excellent job!

Your state of mind is excellent! Optimistic and positive! That's what we like at Fat Secret. You did the right thing in getting out that tape measure to count inches instead of pounds, and your ability to see the vast scheme of things as you look at the year instead of the day is commendable! WE ARE PROUD OF YOU! WOO HOO!
