I was a little scared to get on the scale this morning. Not so bad of a jump after vacation.
The half marathon went pretty well! My foot started feeling it more ran halfway in, but it was never unbearable or past a minor soreness. Once we finished, I massaged it a little bit and after stretching it was back to normal.
My physical therapist thinks I'm making good progress, at this point it's just repeating the stretches and exercises until it goes away, which who knows how long that will take. But I can run so long as it's still improving. I'm happy about that.

Happy to hear that the Half was relatively painless for you! How did you spend the rest of your vacation? Hit any vinyards? Did your SIL finish the race? I live next to the beach in SoCal, and it's always in the 70's in July, so I assume it was similar perfect weather for you in Napa. Details, please!

HCB - thanks! It was my sister in law and she did great! I struggled to keep up but we crossed the finish line together 😁

JustBananas, 70s in July sounds amazing! My sister in law finished, and honestly it was a little bit of a struggle keeping up! We hit up quite a few vineyards on Monday, one even gave us an almost full bottle of wine for free! Napa was toasty during the day though, high 80s / low 90s. And Tuesday we spent the day in San Fran! (Cold and windy!) It was a fun trip 😄
