My fiance called off our wedding and I'm depressed  

Darling Leah, if he has called off the wedding more fool him. You look amazing he is losing you, tuff he is not worth the tears etc. Leah take the advice of an old woman, men are blind and stupid. They can not see what is in front of their noses. Firstly turn the other cheek, when he smells the roses again say as hard as it will be no you've had your chance. It wont be easy stand your ground. Have the best time of your life let him see what he his missing.You must not just love, you have to be truly in love, both of you. And if you are both in love then it will work. But think very carefully before you go any further 🤔. Take things slowly and carefully they will sort themselves out. A delay Wedding is better than a wedding that might go a head and finish quicker than it started. So what ever happens don't rush step bake a bit. It will all make sense in the end. Good luck Leah, any more help you need I am here for you. Look in the mirror and see a amazing wonderful woman who is the best in the world. Merry Mel xx thank you for reaching out with such a lovely message. It's hard to imagine there is someone out there on a weight loss app. Our situation is complex... is my fiances mother in law that's ruining our relationship. I'm really struggling to navigate this and I'm clearly struggling.  

Good morning Leah, this is terrible, your future husband has to wake up, yes he loves his mother, you must think hard here he sounds like a Mummy boy if he is please don't rush into the marriage as sadly he will always do what Mummy says. He will tell you he loves you, and is deeply in love with you. But I can read he is not strong enough to hold your relationship together. You won't want to read this. But I'm tryto look after you. He will always put his mother first. Who ever he chooses will be second best sadly 😥. I know what ever you do I am 100% it won't last, as he will be like this for the rest of his life until his Mum passes away. I am been harsh very harsh but 100% honest. You will hate me soon, but nevermind..if you don't marry him you'll be happier in the the long run. Sadly you are young you might not want to hear or see this but Darling please think and think hard. If you read this to him, sadly 😥 he will laugh and say who in the he'll am I to interfere. I am a woman who has had this happen to them so. Leah i can only give you the advance. aww Leah...I'm so sorry this is happening ❤️🤗 Do not forget that you are a beautiful, strong, kind, caring, smart, funny woman and if he doesn't see that, then he is a fkn idiot! I also have to say, it is not his mum that's the problem, he is a grown ass man and if he allows his mums behaviour then that's his problem and I agree with Mel,,it won't change. It might be hard now but in time you might realise the bullet uve just dodged...do u really want to b with a mamas boy? You are faaaar too good for that...big massive hugs and loves ❤️ 🤗 

His mum has terminal cancer and only has months to live, she bullies him and me. That's the worst part... he loves her and he's devastated she's dying but he hates how she treats us  

Hi Leah, Truly sorry to hear about his Mum, The best thing to do is wait until she has gone, sounds very harsh, but in the long run he and you can bite your tongue and bow and curacy as she likes to rule the roost. So if she isn't around long let her for now. You have to both be strong enough for the next 5 months or so to let her boss you both around If your love is strong you can get through this baring in mind it's not for ever sadly. The best idea is you Marry after she's gone, that way you have both put her first and then you both have the rest of your lives to Marry abd fall in love in piece and harmony. Your Boyfriend will agree with that knowing his Mother has peacefully gone, no longer suffering and not in pain . Hope this is good advice please give it some thought. Very good luck to you both. 🥰 

Ah shit Leah.....I didn't know...I'm so sorry to hear this...this changes everything....so you will want to support him and be there for him bcoz of what he's going through but ur not his 'punching bag' either,,we always take it out on the ones we love the most,,and he will be wanting to do everything she says bcoz it's her last months...not realising what he's doing to you in the process....its a tricky one but just keep talking and be honest about what u can handle and how u feel...I'm here for u 🤗❤️

Thank you xx you can see why this is so complex, and why its not as easy to just leave. He's suffering too. It's just been such a struggle to be strong for both of us. He's also away on a month long work trip to make matters more complicated
