Funny how last entry I was gung ho on weight watchers, I think that lasted one day. I woke up today with some energy, I knew the scale would reflect the bag of Halloween candy I ate this week, I dreaded weighing myself but the 1.2 pound gain was actually less than I expected so it motivated me. I’ll record my food but I think I won’t be so strict about staying within my points. If I could just not eat a whole bag of candy, that would go along way.

I feel so much anxiety about gaining any weight back. I lost 10 pounds on WW then another 10 from my tummy tuck surgery. Now I’m hungry again. All my life I’ve bounced from 40 pounds up and down, either on a diet or absolutely off a diet. The stress is in my chest as to how I’m going to maintain 185. Is Weight Watchers the answer? Is self compassion the answer? Is low carb low sugar the answer? How does fruit play into that? How about simply counting calories? Definitely meal planning and prepping will be huge for me, I suppose that’s one thing I could focus on this week.
