Wow! Today was my first weigh-in since I started this new lifestyle change (I've decided to only weigh-in once a week). I was a little nervous because I had been working really hard. To be honest, I would have been happy losing one pound! I couldn't believe I lost almost 6! I even stepped on the scale multiple times to make sure it was correct. I feel super motivated now! I can do this! I'm sure losing 6 pounds will not necessarily be the norm and I will not expect such a big loss every week, but it is such a good push to get me started!
Side note, tonight will be my first night going to happy hour since I've started this lifestyle change. I'm going to be eating SUPER HEALTHY during the day and really remind myself to make the best choices I can when I'm out with friends tonight!
