The two great things I found when I started IF were that immediately the after dinner snacking stopped!! and longer term it helped put my Type 2 diabetes into remission!! I still aim for a 12hr break from food on weekdays and weekends I do 18:6 IF (20:4 occasionally) and my long term blood sugar continues to drop, also helps me to stay in my calorie deficit by controlling the eating window 👍 Good luck!!!

Thanks - yes I am at that age now where I need to look out for the danger of Type II diabetes. I am not a big eater but a carb eater which adds up. I come from a culture where fasting is part of life, so rediscovering that! Hoping for some positive results 🙂
