It’s a holiday game changer and I think the buffet breakfast really can ruin your day quickly. I tend to want to get my moneys worth, but this also stretches the stomach and strangely I get hungry by lunch!!!

At first, when we did the hotel booking, I was feeling a bit of FOMO of not having buffet breakfasts, but thought if I really really want it, I will just add it on here and there. I soon realised it was a relief not being tempted every morning with all that food. As I used the hotel gym 12 out of 14 mornings I noticed so many fit and healthy people training every morning and then, walking past the buffet, with so many overweight people, it made feel very strong. I keep reminding myself EVERY DAY - I have to make many, many decisions, every single day, sometimes every hour - and all these decisions will pay off long term.
