Surprisingly the 600 calories a day doesn't leave you too hungry. Just the later evenings and late morning. I generally eat from 11ish in the morn unless I eat/coffee after 7:30pm. Gotta starve for 16hrs from that point. I try to do something in the mornings to keep my mind off my hunger. Am I cheating if I have a coffee w milk and one sugar after I wake up. the scales don't seem to think so. Working hard to keep meals light and frequently I'm coming up with 450 to 500 calories consumed through the day. Considering what I'd eat in a day a few weeks back, it's a huge reduction. Normally I'd have coffee, then a little while later, 2 slices of toast with spread (Promite) with another coffee. my wife would cook a largish lunch to fill me. Often after lunch I would have 2 Milky bar fun bars. Then an hour or so later look for some other munchie. Chips, biscuits and cheese or dip. Making me hungry thinking about it. Dinner would be something 'light'. Soup, toastie, bowl of noodles etc. Then I would have sweet biscuits with a decaf coffee around 7. A huge amount of food compared to now. Haven't been drinking soft drinks for a long time. I was drinking cordial. Ribena Blackcurrant. Lots of calories that I didn't think was. I'm hoping I don't fall too far back into bad habits as I eventually increase this wicked 600 cal daily diet. I do love eating foods and struggle to stop when I really enjoy something. I was brought up in an age that you always eat what is on your plate.
