Been a hard couple of weeks. I lost my motivation after going to the doctor and being told to cut back on my food intake more and the weight will come off. I guess in my head I thought they would schedule some tests and tell me why the weight isn't coming off and why I stay stuck on the same numbers for weeks. I know some of it is my food habits, my lack of serious exercise but I still think some might be medical. Thyroid or hormonal since I had my hysterectomy last year due to my uterine cancer. I guess I wanted them to rule out the medical and I will know for sure its just me but they didn't and I need to get my head back in the game. I tried on some spring clothes yesterday when I went shopping with my daughter and granddaughter and depressing is the only word I can use to describe it. So I am back on the program but not super hard core till Monday because of Easter.

Keep at it! I know how it feels when the doctor tells you that stuff. Mine told me this week to stop drinking so much caffeine (I drink between 2-6 cups of hot tea a day) and to exercise more, and to try to lower my BP. I think there is a disconnect between doctors telling us to do this stuff (like it is just _that_ easy and us trying to do it and sometimes having to really struggle to make those changes.
So *huggles* be kind to yourself and just take it one day at a time, one meal at a time and one step at a time--those steps will add up ;)
