Last night I made a quick & easy dish called Bruschetta Chicken Bake. It's not my usual diet food, but I needed a one-dish supper to take to my neighbors as a welcome-home meal and decided to make extra for Mr Coco and me. I ended up taking some over to my BBQ friend's house last night and we ate that instead of our usual pork plate. On top of that, I had picked up a package of Biscoff cookies with the intent of mailing them to my daughter and ended up taking those to my friend's house too. We scarfed down more than we should have while watching a movie. Three cookies have 150 cals, and I know I ate 6. Then I went home and had a cupcake and coffee with Mr Coco, as I had picked up some gift cupcakes for a friend I had met at lunch yesterday, and of course, had to get a couple for hubby and me. So it was a huge day of social eating and too much sugar. I chose to do it. I'm concerned about my weakness for desserts. I've had too much sugar this week. I have no excuse to eat dessert today though, so I'm going to try to keep it clean. No, not try. I WILL keep my menu clean.
Walking in the heat this morning was brutal. Even my ears were sweating.
