An absolutely beautiful day today. Had a rare Gulf of Alaska storm pass quickly through the area yesterday which brought those warm temps we've been having way down to something more normal for the season.
It's been nothing but blue skies, puffy white clouds, sun and breezy conditions. A great day to relax outside and enjoy the moment of simply being, which is what I've been taking advantage of entirely :-)
Scrub Jays and Monarch butterflies have been visiting the garden, which is coming along nicely. What were once small seedlings are now starting to look like the plants with which I'm far more familiar seeing. The zucchini are growing like weeds! Green beans have been staked, as have sugar snap peas.
Even found a pumpkin I'd set out as an experiment after autumn had come and gone is now sprouting like mad from its deflated shell.
Thanks for all of the comments and support on my last entry; I really enjoyed reading them! I'm glad to see there's a few more green thumbs on FatSecret and I'm additionally happy to hear that some of you have found my links or advice helpful in regards to my way of eating :-).
